Meet Ralph Carr

When my wife, Kyra, and I moved to Wallkill in 1982, we thought we’d stay a few years—but we fell in love with the community and never left. Over the years, I’ve built a business, raised my family, and dedicated myself to serving this town.
From my early career in commercial lending to owning Chester Printing for over 30 years, I’ve always believed in the power of hard work and collaboration. That same mindset led me to community service, from coaching youth sports to serving on the Boys & Girls Club and Dispute Resolution Center boards. Seeing challenges in local government firsthand, I joined the Town Planning Board in 2000 and later served two terms on the Town Board as Ward 1 Councilman and Deputy Supervisor.

Now, I’m running for Town Supervisor because I believe in smart, responsible leadership that puts people first. I’ll bring my experience and ability to bring people together to ensure Wallkill keeps moving forward. I’m eager to serve and make town government more accessible, transparent, and responsive to everyone.

I’d love to hear from you—let’s build a stronger Wallkill together!
